For these different roles there are some distinctive requirements.

Trader


In our trading department position of "Trader" is vacant all year round:

As a member of our team, your role will be to price and trade financial options, build and maintain positions in derivatives and equities, and improve models, risk management and trading methods. We also demand a constant search for knowledge and new theories. In order to apply, you will need:

• An academic degree
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• A proven affinity for finance and financial markets
• An eye for accuracy, solve problems and make decisions under pressure
• Competitive attitude and the ability to cope with considerable responsibility

IT


In our IT department the following positions in development and operations are vacant all year:

Development

Junior Software Engineer

As a graduate member of our development team you will design, construct and support our trading support systems using mainly C++ and C#. In close contact with our traders, you'll respond to their needs for solutions. In order to apply you will need:

• An academic degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or similar;
• Knowledge of C++ and/ or C#;
• A good team player and communicator who enjoys creative freedom and independence;
• Be independent in managing your own responsibilities;
• To thrive in a challenging, performance-driven culture where innovative contributions are valued.


Senior Software Engineer

As a senior member of our development team you will design, construct and support our trading support systems using mainly C++ and C#. Your role is to develop applications in Windows, Linux, and with C# and/or C++. With creativity and vision, you'll develop business-critical solutions and be expected to handle continuous change and diverse challenges. In order to apply you will need:

• An academic degree, preferably in IT engineering or information systems ;
• At least three years as a proven IT developer;
• Knowledge, experience and a good track record of working in C++ and/or C#;
• A good team player and communicator who enjoys creative freedom and independence;
• The ambition to grow through experience, training and on-the-job development;
• Knowledge of the financial sector is a plus, but not essential.


Operations

Junior Systems/ Application Engineer

As graduate member of application team you will be responsible for the availability and performance of key trading applications and systems. This role involves technical troubleshooting, managing application performance and liaising with the end user regarding requests. In order to apply you will need:

• A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• General IT skills; OS, Networks, databases
• Programming/ scripting skills
• Good team working skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• A proactive and customer focused attitude
• A strong interest in trading


Systems/ Application Engineer

As a member of our application team you will be responsible for the availability and performance of key trading applications and systems. This role involves technical trouble shooting, managing application performance and liaising with the end-user regarding requests. In order to apply you will need:

• A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• Experience with Unix and shell scripting
• General knowledge about Windows
• Knowledge about networking
• Experience with programming, preferably in Python or other languages
• A strong interest in trading
