Responsibilities

·         Design and develop proprietary software applications used to execute proprietary trading strategies

·         Develop, modify and maintain applications which may need to be customized or standardized

·         Participate in deadlines aligned with the software development life cycle

·         Participate in code reviews

 

Requirements

·         BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering or related degree.

·         Depth in either C++ and/or C#

·         Network programming (TCP/IP)

·         Linux and Windows development experience

·         Strong understanding of Computer Science principles and concepts including Algorithms, Data Structures, Multiprocessing and Performance

·         Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming and design

·         Strong understanding of machine architecture, operating systems interactions (memory management, i/o systems, sockets, inter process communications)

·         Strong desire to build software for a leading proprietary trading firm; experience in all aspects of the SDLC, from requirements gathering to production deployment

·         Strong interest in working in a proprietary trading firm

·         Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
