IT facilitator administration

For this environment, Optiver is searching for a IT facilitator administration for the IT facilities department. As IT facilitator it is your responsibility to ensure optimal support for the various IT activities related to Hardware management. Your main work location will be in the Optiver building in Amsterdam with the possibility of visits to one of our co-locations within Europe.


What you'll do

  • Administration related to the hardware we use in the CMDB (change management data base);
  • Administration related to connectivity between various hardware (for example patch information);
  • Offering and ordering process of hardware and software;
  • Communication with suppliers and manufacturers;
  • RMA (repair) process;
  • Making inventories and compare them with the data in our administration;
  • Registration and labeling of new devices;
  • Management of spare (hardware) environment;
  • Management of hardware life-cycle;
  • Participate in IT projects.

What you'll need

  • Minimal HBO level with a technical background;
  • A few years of working experience in a similar job/environment is a pre;
  • Eager to learn;
  • Taking initiative;
  • Eager to get our department on a higher level;
  • See administration as a challenge (good readable hand writing is a must);
  • A fluency level of written and spoken English (understanding Dutch is a pre);
  • Valid driving license B is a pre;
  • Willing to work flexible hours;
  • Able to work as team player and independently.
